Through our education focused lens, we challenge dancers to rise beyond expectations by experiencing the wonders of fair and authentic competition, exploring diverse dance styles and gaining exposure to industry professional opportunities.

Meet Lee Pham, the founder and director of Versastyle Dance Competition. He is bringing his 20+ years of knowledge in dance and business to make Versastyle stand out above the rest. If you haven’t experienced Versastyle yet, you’re in in for something special.

Meet the Team

Will Jeffs

Emcee

Will is an award-winning writer/director, producer, performer, and co-founder of Red Imp, a film and TV production company based between Toronto and London. His screen credits include FUBAR, Mamma Mia! The Movie, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. A former professional dancer and choreographer, he continues to teach and adjudicate internationally.

Rebecca Bex Perry

Emcee

Rebecca is an actor, singer, writer, and host working across theatre, film, TV, and voice-over. Their award-winning solo show, Confessions of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl, has toured internationally, including the Edinburgh Fringe. Screen credits include The Handmaid’s Tale and A Bluegrass Christmas. A Canadian Comedy Award winner, Rebecca is excited to join the Versastyle team for the 2026 season.

Colleen Zander

Emcee

Colleen is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and paediatric physical therapist based in Vancouver. Holding degrees in Contemporary Dance and Physical Therapy, she balances clinical practice with theatre, film, and dance mentorship. Her stage and screen credits span contemporary dance, independent film, musical theatre, and international performance projects.

Kim Nunez

Production Co-Ordinator

Kim obtained a B Mus and B Ed degree from the University of Ottawa and began teaching immediately following. She gave up teaching later to be a full time dance mom and start her own family bakery/cafe that’s she’s been doing ever since. She is thrilled to be a part of the Versastyle team!

Leah Cousins

Stage Manager

Leah began dancing competitively at nine in rural Nova Scotia. She trained at the Maritime Conservatory under Barbara Dearborn and later with Eryn Waltman, Gerad McIsaac, Kelly Shaw, and Alysa Pires. Now a professional dancer, she is also pursuing her Associate Teacher membership with the Society of Classical Ballet.

Nicole Yen

Photographer

Nicole is a Toronto-based photographer and dancer. She’s grateful to be able to combine her two passions as a photographer for dance competitions across Canada.

Matt Hamilton

Cinematographer

With over 15 years of experience in the visual media industry, Matt has made hundreds of pieces of video and photography. This includes everything from award-winning, viral short films and music videos, to network broadcast documentary content, as well as corporate and online commercial features. He loves sculpting eye-popping visuals and telling stories that matter.

Leslie Hurley

Production Co-Ordinator

I’m Leslie. I’m passionate about living life to its fullest. With that said, I am excited to work with a strong team that brings growth and fosters encouragement along with a huge dose of positivity helping you strive to be the best that you can be.

Trinitea Hoard

Stage Manager

Trinitea began dancing competitively at age seven in Thunder Bay, Ontario, training at International Dance Academy. She holds multiple dance student and educator certifications under the ADAPT Syllabus, and works as a local choreographer for youth-teen theatre under All The Daze Productions.

Riley Schutz

Photographer

Riley Schutz grew up dancing competitively in Burnaby, BC, training under Rachael Poirier at Poirier Productions. Alongside his dance career, he became a professional photographer in 2020. He’s thrilled to combine both passions this season, capturing the energy and artistry of Versastyle on and off stage.

Paras Rathi

Cinematographer

Paras Rathi based out of Vancouver, is a content creator and filmmaker for Versastyle Dance Competition. He is passionate about creating visually stunning and engaging content that tells a story.

Ema Walters

Video Editor

A visual artist with a background rooted in film and journalism, Ema weaves stories that celebrate nature, uplift artists, and honour community. Driven to create meaningful, joyful change, she shapes powerful narratives through editing, set design and producing for commercial, film, and community projects.

Robert Simpson

Stage Manager

Robert combines his years of expertise managing teams in logistics and asset management with over 10 years of experience as media and data manager for a dance studio and 20 years as a dance dad.

Jean Mariette Balallo

Photographer

Jean is a Toronto-based photographer specializing in sport and dance photography. Having grown up as a studio dancer, she is excited to give back to the dance community through a new creative lens.
